Message of Solidarity with Libya after Floodings

The Socialist International Women (SIW) is deeply saddened by the devastating impact and the loss of lives caused by the floods in Libya. The scale of the devastation and the impact on the people of Libya is shocking and heart-breaking.

Our thoughts are with the people of Libya during these incredibly painful and difficult times and our sincerely condolences go to the families of those who have lost loved ones as well as with all the Libyan people who have been affected or displaced.

SIW stands in solidarity with Libya and urges the international community to join forces to provide immediate and long-term coordinated assistance to help support all those affected by this dreadful tragedy.
